The sensational white orchid, also known as “buddhist orchid”, grows to a compact shrub and small tree, respectively, with a broad crown. This orchid tree too develops leaves in the shape of a camel toe. Within its natural habitat, the plant attains a height of 10-12 metres. Grown in a pot or tub, the height is, however, controllable. Numerous, about 12 cm large, white flowers appear from January to May, which sometimes still show during summer. The flowers emit a light, pleasant fragrance.
