Description
The striking 30 cm high beach lily does not miss its effect even in the white sand. In the summer months, around 3-15 of the bright white and pleasantly sweet-smelling flowers appear per plant, even in the hottest heat. The flowers appear late and can be admired from July to mid-October. The trumpet-shaped flower grows from the bottom of the stamens and remains connected to it, it is always pure white and never darker or cream-colored. It opens in the afternoon and only blooms until the next noon. The home of this perennial onion-forming amaryllis plant are the coastal strips with their white dunes of Southern Europe / Mediterranean / Brittany / Black Sea and North Africa.
