Description
Know for centuries, this aubergine variety from India and China grows densely and is spineless. Fruits are purple with white patterns. This highly productive plant is flowering after 64 days and produces many small oval-shaped, 5 cm long baby aubergines. The bigger ones will grow to a lenght of 10 cm and have a bitter-free taste. Ideal for the greek dish Moussaka. The Calliope can be perfectly grown in a pot or tub.
