Description
The impressive solitary plant is admired in every garden and park in the Mediterranean region. The attractive wood with its glossy green coloured leaves is able to grow to heights of 10 metres (which does, however, take several years). The very large, cream coloured, 20-30 cm large flowers appear the whole summer through. The fragrance is very discrete. Since this magnolia does keep its leaves in winter as well, it is also called the “evergreen magnolia”.
