Originating from the cloud forests of the Andes, the fuchsia attracts attention for its long and slightly hairy leaves. Especially during the long flowering period the deep red and long flowers are already visible from far away . The Fuchsia boliviana grows into a medium to large-sized shrub of 3 to 6 metres in nature. Cultivated in a tub within our regions, this fast-growing plant is limited to a height of 2 to 2,5 metres. The plant represents a true enrichment for every Fuchsia enthusiasts, because it is so unusually looking.
