Description
This Australian Frangipani is a rain forest tree able to grow up to 20 metres high in nature. Bearing numerous and beautiful yellow, fragrant flowers from April until June, the tree is very popular with bees and butterflies. The flowers reach diameters of 5 to 7 cm. The leaves are firm, dark green and shining. By now, the plant is even naturalized in Madeira as well. The Frangipani is a rarity here and can be cultivated as a tub plant. Plants larger than 2 metres do also tolerate light frosts.
