Description
Seen in nature, the yellow flamboyant from the carob plant family offers an attractive appearance for a shade-producing tree the whole year through. It is flowering for months and its impressive yellow inflorescences are pleasantly fragrant. The tree is able to attain a height of 20 metres. Planted in a tub, it will grow about 1,50 to 2,50 metres tall. Raised as a shrub or tree, its glossy green compound leaves do let the plant look very elegantly as well. Origin from South-east Asia to northern Australia.
