Description
Indeterminate
This tomato is the epitome of the Mediterranean area. Known since the 18th century, Italian cuisine simply does not function without it. This favourite grows to a height of almost 200 cm and can be cultivated in a tub or outdoors. Costoluto Genovese unfolds a full, pleasant-tasting tomato aroma. It is flat, with lots of ribs, and weighs between 130 and 250 grams. The tomato is used in many ways. Ideally for pasta or barbecue sauces, as well as for bolognese. It also tastes excellently in salad or on bread. The long harvesting period lasts from July until October. If we were to give away awards, this variety would score a 5 out of 5 possible tomato points.
