The Feuerwerk tomato is a german heirloom and translates to “firework” as it has an interesting apperance: red, orange, yellow and silver stripes explode together like fireworks. The tomatoes are about 150 to 200 grams, flat round, slightly ribbed and have a juicy, fleshy pulp. They have a nice tart and fruity taste and are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for cooking or preserving.
