Sunflower Seeds – DF83004 Black Seeded (Helianthus annuus)

Description

This sunflower has yellow flower heads and black seeds and is edible. the closed flower heads – especially those of the side buds – are cooked like artichokes. The individual petals can also be eaten. The petals taste delicious, subtle but not neutral. The black seeds contain a nutty kernel that is often eaten as a snack.
