Description
This striking plant belongs to the dracaena family. With their sprawling and dense tuft of leaves, these plants are quite impressive. They grow up to 15 m tall and bear large flower spikes measuring between 70 and 120 cm in length. These spikes are filled with shimmering flowers in shades of white, light pink, or light violet. This evergreen, extremely robust plant is ideal for cultivation in containers and, with its dense tuft of leaves, is a true feast for the eyes. Due to its palm-like appearance, it is often confused with the latter, but it is a close relative of the Dracaena (dragon tree). They grow with a single stem and are native to South America and New Zealand.
