Description
This variety was brought to Spain by Mexican monks during the 18th century. The pepper is named after the town “Padron”. The plant bears fruits from end of June until end of September. Once the fruits have grown to 2-3 cm in size, there is only one fruit out of twenty which will be hot. The rest is rather very mild and aromatic. If you let them grow to 4-6 cm in size, they will then all be hot.
