This ornamental woody plant is also known as “Madonna Tree” or “Love Tree” within the regions of the Mediterranean Sea since its flowering period is at height in May. Cultivated as a bush or tree, respectively, the plant grows to 1-3 m within our latitudes. Leaves and shining pink-coloured flowers appear simultaneously.
