Description
With enough space, this tree from the Australian rain forest, which is several meters high, develops a bushy form and develops dark green, oblong-oval, leathery leaves. When they sprout, the young twigs are initially pink. After a few years, small flowers appear that pollinate themselves. Followed by woody, rounded fruits which are 2 to 3 cm in diameter and contain edible seeds. The first harvest can be expected after about 5 years.
