Description
The extraordinary, small, slowly and storey-growing (about 3 to 5 metres), very robust tree stands out for its year-round display of colours. Even experts are sometimes still amazed by it. The long flowering period during spring/early summer is dominated by the 13 to 15 cm sized bright white flowers transitioning into early summer foliation with plenty of small, red, strawberry-like fruits. In autumn, the leaves of the dogwood flower turn into a blazing red.
