Description

The red dwarf banana, also called scarlett banana or red Thai banana, develops the most beautiful flower of all dwarf bananas. The flower is large, bright red and lives for about 2 months. The plant itself grows to a maximum height of 2 metres with slender, bright green, about 80 cm long leaves on the slim pseudostem. It is easily grown and cultivation is completely problem-free – it’s the ideal banana plant for pot or tub cultivation indoors.
