Description
The South African red orchid tree is a small-leaved dwarf orchid tree reaching heights of 1,50 to 3 metres tops. It grows bushy and more like a climbing plant meaning it needs something to lean against. The plant can be perfectly cultivated indoors or in a winter garden. The exotic, filigree, red, 8 cm large flowers consisting of five single petals, appear mostly during spring and autumn. From May on, the tub plant can be moved outside as well.
