Description

The medium-sized rock palm, from Central America, grows on very stony and rocky, nutrient-poor soils at heights between 300 and 2000 meters. It grows very differently, sometimes with a slim and sometimes with a thick trunk, sometimes single and often with multiple stems. Its leaves are frosted blue and it is still very rarely found in cultivation.
