Description
The genus Passiflora comprises more than 500 species and almost all of them are perennial, woody vine plants. The Passiflora x violacea is a cross between Passiflora caerulea and Passiflora racemosa. It was bred around 1820 in England and is considered the oldest documented hybrid. When cultivating seeds, slight color changes can occur again and again.
