Description

Indeterminate

The “Rose of Berne” is an ancient Swiss outdoor tomato. It is undemanding and ideal for colder climates with short summers. It grows to a height of 120 cm, is very productive and takes a bit longer to ripen. Since the bright red-pink coloured fruits (120-180 grams) do have a thin skin, the tomato should only be harvested riply. Every cluster bears 4-6 fruits tasting pleasantly sweet and aromatic. Suitable for direct consumption, also for salads and sauces.
