A really unusual squash variety, which originally comes from the Japanese island of Hokkaido and which catches the eye even more because of its bluish-gray skin color. The Blue Hokkaido also known as “Blue Kuri” forms flat, round squash. These weigh around 1.5 kg with a diameter of 10-18 cm. Ηard but thin shell and the pulp is orange. The taste is excellent and nutty or slightly reminiscent of chestnuts.
