Description

Grown in Rio Lucio, New Mexico at 8000 feet. kernels are used for posole and flour. Originally domesticated by Mesoamericans, it is a staple food with many other traditional uses. Sea-blue ears, sometimes with individual white grains. The grains are very soft. Ripens mid-early, harvest in August. (90 days).
