Description
The Delice de la Table melon, is an old French variety that has now become very rare. The melons are white with green marks that become yellow-orange when mature and marked ribs that make them look like small pumpkins. The fruit is rather heavy, 500 grams – 2 kilos, and the orange pulp is very sweet, particularly delicate with a soft consistency. This melon was mentioned in “Les plantes potageres” by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1885. 85-90 days.
