Description

This vigorous, evergreen climber bears nearly 10 to 12 cm large, red-white flowers. She is probably the most graceful among the passion flowers. Known for its very large fruits which grow rapidly and may weigh up to 4 kg. They turn light yellow to medium yellow when mature. The fruit is eaten fresh or used in drinks. The unripe, green fruit is eaten as a vegetable.
