Description
An attractive vine from disturbed rainforests in Central and South America, at elevations between sea level and 1500 m. Passiflora auriculata displays distinctive, lanceolate leaves, with ear-shaped glands near the base and a profusion of cream to yellowish-green flowers, purple toward the base, followed by round, edible, black fruits.
