Brandywine Black. Bred in the 1920s from a cross between Brandywine and Fejee Improved (a brown beefsteak) tomato. Indeterminate plants that produce good yields of 280-450 gr., purple/black beefsteak tomatoes with rich, earthy complex, tomatoey sweet flavors. Superior for salads, salsa, sandwiches. and cooking.
