Description
This evergreen, creeping or climbing Clianthus probably belongs to the most beautiful flowers on earth. Essentially, there are only 2 existing species. Conspicuous on the long branches are the quite large, beaklike flowers shining in glossy fiery red colour with a black mark at the lower end of the upright standing petals. This tub plant flowers from summer through autumn within our regions. Given a bright position during winter, the plant might even start flowering in spring already. A climbing support does promote growth.
