Description
These beautiful exotic plants with their large leaves and ears as well as colorful cover leaves belong to the family of the banana plants. They are evergreen, perennial and pronounced avifauna, as nectar forms and is secreted at the base of the petals. The Heliconie pendula can reach 2-3 meters in height and forms a thicket of thin stems, from which the 25 cm long flowers dangle. These are bright red and envelop the actually true golden yellow flower.
