Description

Semi-determinate

This heirloom variety is an early ripening farmer variety and very popular. The stake tomato “Horn of the Andes” is from the Andes of Ecuador and Peru and produces long, horn-like, however, firm fruits. These can stay on the plant for quite long. They weigh between 80-150 grams, have few seeds, few juice and very little acid. They belong to the “best” and its flesh is very aromatic – almost “quaffably” melting.
