Description

A winter hardy climbing plant with fragrant, giant flower clusters is the Japanese Wisteria. The up to 65 cm long, purple flower strands are abundant from late April to early June. This makes it the type of blue-flower with the largest flowers and then blooms when the other species have already withered. The dark green pinnate leaves are often 20 – 30 cm long.
