Description
Native to South America, this herb was brought to Central America and is now found in some parts of southern Europe. The 70 to 120 cm high-growing herb was introduced by the Hispanolas long ago from Peru and Ecuador to Mexico. It’s an annual plant that tastes something like cilantro with strong citrus notes and roux. It has a pleasant, strong fragrance. The plant needs dry soil and is quite undemanding in the care. Their leaves are roundish and bluish green.

Germination is by nature slow and uneven in this species. It usually takes about 14-28 days for the first shoots to appear. The best sowing time is spring and summer
