Description
The Salsola comes from Japan. The annual, Japanese herb is fast growing, has a high yield and can be harvested year-round. The bushy, growing saltwort forms many slightly succulent stems. They are crisp, refreshing and only slightly salty. Salad leaves and much nutrient rich with plenty of vitamin A and calcium. It is the perfect ingredient for salads and sushi.
Sowing Advice
The saltwort can be pulled out of seeds within 2 weeks and cultivated without difficulty. The seedling success is at high 95%. It is suitable for direct sowing in a pot or in a bed.
